Socially Distanced Service Guidelines

IF YOU FEEL SICK STAY HOME
If you are not feeling well, have a fever, a dry cough, or have had direct contact with someone who likely has or is confirmed to have had COVID-19 please stay home to help stop the spread. If so please join our live stream on Facebook so you can stay connected.

MASK ARE REQUIRED WHEN ENTERING & LEAVING THE BUILDING
Mask are required to enter our service unless you are medically unable to wear one. If you forget yours or do not have one we will have some available on site.  Please enter and leave through the main doors and find a seat quickly after you enter, you may remove your mask when you are seated but will be asked to resume wearing it if you leave your seat and when you exit the building.

SEATING
Seats in the auditorium are spaced in pods which are 6 feet away from others. Do your best to find a pod that meets your needs quickly as you enter. Please maintain 6 feet between households. It will take us a few weeks to figure seating out and get used to it! Kindly observe any directives from the welcome team regarding seating.

SINGING
Congregational singing will take place at the close of our service only. As we stand to sing we will wear mask.  This may feel odd at first but is worth it to mitigate risk and allow our church family to worship together in song.

OCCUPANCY LIMITS
By limiting occupancy to 75 in the sanctuary we ensure at least 6 feet of physical space per person. Please understand and respect these occupancy limits. We believe that we have plenty of space for our body at this point but if not we will look for ways to add services in the future.

HOSPITALITY
We will not be serving coffee for this season but feel free to bring some with you! Be warm & kind to one another! Smile! Interact! Just keep a 6-foot distance as you do. After services, please leave the building immediately. You are welcome to interact with one another outdoors as long as you observe social distancing. Michigan DHHS guidelines instruct us to prevent interaction between parties at distances less than six feet.

KIDS
Sadly, we are unable to offer River City Kids ministry for the time being. Parents, you assume all responsibility for your kids during and after worship.

COMMUNION AND OFFERING
Pre-packaged communion will be placed on each chair by a welcome team member wearing gloves before service, the bread in these kits is not gluten free, individually wrapped gluten free bread is available upon request. We will not be passing red buckets for offering, but there will be buckets in the back of the auditorium if you wish to give in that way.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By receiving these guidelines, you understand and accept the risk that comes with gathering together in public. While we are working hard to ensure a safe and hospitable environment, we cannot guarantee your safety from COVID-19. You attend services at your own risk.
